Our careers are important to us and to the clients we serve. We’re lucky because you and I get to spend time developing and implementing creative ideas bringing pleasure as we bring them to fruition.
As you know by now there are joys and responsibilities far beyond anything our work can bring. This week I became irritated finding you unavailable as I was trying to service a joint client. This quickly turned to great cheer as I became enlightened of the birth of your son. I must say - It’s good to know that you have your priorities straight.
It’s a great club that you’ve joined and I’m happy to see you’ve become a part of it. Congratulations to you and your wife!

What a glorious day. Witnessing the birth of my son; his first breaths, his reaction to his first views of this world. Thank you for understanding my preoccupation. I’m back in the office now, and at your service. However, I may find a deep desire to clock out at a decent hour more often now than in the past.
