Yahoo added new functionality to it’s recently purchased photo service Flickr (Perhaps not so recent in Internet Time). The new feature in the photo management and blogging product enables users to Geocode photos with an easy to use graphical interface. Utilizing the Yahoo Maps and Yahoo Local interface Flickr users can find the location that a photo was taken and easily define geographical data to the photo. That’s the Home Run, here’s the RBI - To show how easy this tool is to use Yahoo created a VideoBlog entry…though it’s on a static Web page…the URL structure has the scent of a blog.
